On the ‘Planned vs Clocked’ dashboard, you can compare planned hours with clocked hours. This provides insights to help optimize your planning.

You can find more information about how the reporting dashboards work in this manual.

Filters

Next to the filters for the period and the workspace, you have the option to filter based on the work area and the statute of the employee.

In the work area filter it is possible that you see the value 'N/A'. This means 'Not applicable' and will occur when someone that wasn't planned clocks in. In those situations, the time registration is not linked to the work area. Those time registrations will be bundled under 'N/A'.

In the statute filter, it's possible to have 'Not configured', which means that there is no statute configured for those employees on their profile. The value 'not applicable' for the statute will occur when you select a period in which there is an open worktime as an open worktime does not have a statute.

Reporting

Clocked time per statute

In addition to the hour overview, the dashboard shows clocked time per status.
For example, 26% of clocked time might be registered by students. ‘Not configured’ means time was clocked by employees without a configured status.

If certain statuses only occasionally log time and their share is less than 3% of total registrations, they are grouped under the category ‘Other’ in the chart.

Planned and clocked time per week

This chart visualizes the total number of planned and clocked hours on a weekly basis. It’s useful for comparing over longer periods.

It's highly recommended that the start date of the selected period is a Monday and the end date is a Sunday. This ensures full weeks are shown and avoids odd results at the beginning or end of the chart.

Clocked hours per workarea

Another chart provides insight into which work area has the most time registered.
The larger the block, the more time was clocked in that area. The size of a block equals the percentage of clocked time for that work area relative to the total clocked time.

‘N/A’ means ‘Not Applicable’, which occurs when someone who wasn’t scheduled logs time. Since no work area can be linked, these entries are grouped under ‘N/A’.

Planned and clocked time per workspace

This chart compares planned and clocked hours across different workspaces.
It helps identify where most hours are planned or where the gap between planned and clocked hours is largest. You can add or remove workspaces using the workspace filter at the top left.

Clocked time per workspace and statute

This chart lets you compare the distribution of clocked time across different statuses and workspace. For example, you can see which locations make the most use of student workers.

You can change the chart style using the ‘Mode’ option at the top left. The available options are:

  1. 100% stacked (default option)

  2. Stacked

  3. Grouped
