Strobbo now keeps certain employee data historically. This means that every change is saved, while also allowing you to plan changes in advance. ✨
This includes, among other things:
📋 Statute
🪪 Dimona type
💰 Wage and costs
⏰ Contract hours
📆 Work schedule
👤 Function title
📝 Contract dates
🔄 How does it work?
This data is now stored as a timeline of different versions.
Each version has a start date and remains valid until the day before the next version starts. The most recent version has no end date.
Each version is called an employment.
📌 Example
Imagine that an employee changes their statute as of 1 October.
You can already enter this change today and set 1 October as the start date.
Strobbo does not overwrite the employee's data from September. Instead:
📅 The current employment remains valid until 30 September.
🆕 A new employment starts on 1 October with the updated information.
This keeps the full history intact and ensures that Strobbo knows which data should apply on any given date.
🚀 Plan changes in advance
One of the main benefits is that you can now set up future changes in advance.
You no longer have to wait until the day the change takes effect.
🎓 Example: student becomes part-time employee
A student changes to a part-time statute starting 1 October.
You can already set up this change in Strobbo and choose 1 October as the start date.
Until 30 September, the current statute remains applicable. From 1 October onwards, Strobbo will automatically use the new information.
💡 Why is this useful?
With historical data, you can:
✅ Plan changes in advance
✅ Keep a complete employee history
✅ See which data applied on a specific date
✅ Make sure Strobbo automatically uses the correct data
In short: you no longer need to make changes at the last minute. Plan them in advance and let Strobbo automatically apply the right information at the right time. 🚀
