Only admins can configure this page.
In the General Settings, you can adjust the following settings:
Activating self registration
Do you want to allow your employees to register themselves in the Strobbo environment? If yes, tick the box next to the option “Activate self registration”.
When this box is selected, your employees can create an account for themselves using a link. This means you don’t need to add all the profiles yourself.
Time Entry rounding
There are various options for time rounding in our clock. Here is an overview of the options you can set up.
Round to planned work time
If an employee is scheduled, we will set the clock-in time to their planned start time, but only if you clock in before the planned start time.Note: maximum time difference
This adjustment only happens if the difference between the clock-in time and the planned start time is no more than 4 hours.
Examples:Clock-in 08:05, planned start 16:00
The clock-in time and planned time are too far apart (more than 4 hours), so they are not linked. Standard rounding applies.Clock-in 15:05, planned start 16:00
The clock-in time and planned time are close (less than 4 hours difference), so they are linked. The clock-in time will be rounded to the planned work time.
If you clock in when you are not scheduled or after the planned start time, the second rule applies:
Standard rounding is applied according to the rules aboveWhen the admin selects “Round to planned work time” and Dimona is activated, a warning will appear.
This warning informs about possible consequences related to Dimona reports.
Only round before start time
Note: you can only tick this box and use the option if you create schedules in advance. Otherwise our system cannot round the times after the start time. If the person clocks in after the start time and you haven’t chosen a different rounding option, this person’s time is not rounded.
Example: Petra is scheduled to start work at 10:00. She clocks in at 09:50. If this option is ticked, our system rounds her clock-in time to 10:00.
If you want to add extra rounding options, tick the box next to the options below. Then, all the options open to select the number of minutes.
Here is an example of the options.
Clock-in rounding
Select this option to round the clock-in time. You can then choose whether it is rounded up, down or to the nearest time. The default setting is to round up.
Rounding up means that a clock-in is rounded up by X minutes. So, 09:43 is rounded up to 09:45.Clock-out rounding
Select this option to round the clock-out time. You can then choose whether it is rounded up, down or to the nearest time. The default setting is to round down.
Rounding down means that a clock-in is rounded down by X minutes. So, 09:43 is rounded down to 09:40.If your employees record their break times, you can also set up rounding for the start and end time of the break.
This functions in largely the same way as the other rounding options.
Worktime types
This option is automatically filled in as “Standard working time” – you cannot edit this yourself.
Activating iCal
The iCal link allows your employees to add their shifts or working times to their personal agenda.
If you tick the box “Activate iCal for all working hours”, then employees can also display all their colleagues’ working hours in their agenda.
