In Strobbo you can set up per employee if his/her overtime needs to be tracked or not.

This option exists because you might not need to track everyone's overtime, for example only for permanent employees and not for students.

You can find information on how the overtime is calculated in this article.

⏱️ Setting up overtime tracking per employee

You can decide for which employee overtime should be tracked by following these steps:

👉 Step-by-step:

  1. In the menu, go to Management → Users.

  2. On the right side, click the edit icon (pencil) for the employee you want to enable overtime tracking for.

  3. Open the tab of your establishment and scroll down until you see “Overtime”. Check the box ✅.

  4. Enter from which point negative hours and overtime should start being counted.

💡 Example:

  • If you set both values to 38 and 38:

    • If the employee works 38:05, then 5 minutes overtime will be counted.

    • If the employee works 37:55, then 5 minutes negative time will be counted.

  • If you set negative hours to 37 and overtime to 39:

    • An employee working 38:05 will have nothing calculated.

⚠️ Important:
You need admin rights to set up negative hours and overtime.
