Step-by-step guide: how to export worked hours from Strobbo to your payroll provider

  1. Go to “Payroll” via the “Management” menu
In this screen, you’ll find an overview of all worked hours by your employees, including their registered absences.

  2. Check the correct period
Make sure the start and end dates match the month you want to export.

  3. Refresh the data
Click on “Reset data” to ensure you're working with the most up-to-date information.

  4. Check employee numbers
All employees must have an employee number. Anyone without one will not be included in the export.

  5. Verify recorded hours and absences
Review all data to ensure everything has been entered correctly.

  6. Apply rules
Click on “Apply rules”. This converts the basic time registration into specific hour types (e.g. night hours, Sunday hours, public holiday hours, gross/net overtime, etc.).

These rules were configured in collaboration with your Strobbo consultant.

  7. Check for conflicts
Use the filter “Show conflicts only” to quickly spot any entries where rules couldn't be applied.
📌 Manually correct them and review what went wrong.

  8. Optional: Close the payroll
Once everything looks good, you can close the payroll.

This locks the data, prevents further edits, and (if configured) automatically transfers overtime into the time-off balances in Strobbo.

  9. Export the data
    Click on “Export data”.
Your file will be downloaded and ready to upload to your payroll provider (sociaal secretariaat).
