General Information

This validation rule checks whether a person is scheduled for more days than the set maximum number of days per week, based on various settings in Strobbo.

⚠️ Important: You can define how many days per week a specific status is allowed to work.

This can be set via Management - Settings - Statutes in the "Absence" field.

If you don’t see this field, please contact us via our support chat. This means the general setting is configured differently for your account (this cannot be changed by yourself).

For example, if you set here that a full-time (worker) should work 5 days per week, then that number (5) will also apply when you create this planning validation rule.

🛠️ How to set up the rule

  1. Click on Management in the main menu.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Click on Planning validation rules.

  4. In the top-right corner, click the green “Add” button.

  5. Select the desired rule, in this case "planned more than set maximum workdays per week".

💡 How to fill in all fields correctly?

Choose a title and description

  • Title:
Give the rule a recognizable name, for example:
“Planned more than x days a week”

  • Description:
Add a short explanation describing why this rule has been set up.
    For example:
“Students should not be planned more than 2 days a week.”

Select the correct statutes

Under the “statutes” field, you’ll see a list of all available types within your organization.

  • By default, all types are selected.

  • Deselect the statutes to which this rule should not apply.
For example: if the rule only applies to students, uncheck the other types.

👀 How to recognize a warning in the schedule:

  • At the top of the schedule, a yellow dot will appear on the bell icon (notifications).

  • Click the bell to open the message.

  • You’ll see a list of employees who do not comply with the applied rule.

💡 Tip: Click on the notification to quickly navigate to the relevant employee or scheduling error and correct it immediately.
