This validation rule ensures that no employee is scheduled for more or fewer days allowed within a specific timeframe, you can also choose to only validate consecutive days. The rule can apply to daily, weekly, or monthly timeframes.

Set up the rule as follows:

  1. Go to Management in the main menu and click on Settings

  2. Select Planning Validation Rules

  3. Click the green Add button in the top-right corner

  4. Choose the rule Min/Max work days in a defined period

  5. Click Next

  6. Add a title and description, and select the employee statuses to which the rule should apply

  7. Fill in the desired parameters:

    • Minimum/Maximum
Choose whether you want to set a minimum required number of days or a maximum allowed number of days within the selected period.

    • Min/Max Days
Enter the exact number of working days that should serve as the threshold for validation.
