If you have questions about the push notifications you receive or would like to receive, this guide provides more information.

If you’re an employer and have questions about how this works and how to ensure your staff can receive these push notifications, you can also find that information below.

Permitting push notifications

Attention: To receive push notifications, make sure notifications are enabled for the app.

The first time you open the app after downloading it, you’ll see a prompt asking you to allow notifications. Be sure to tap “Allow”.

You’ll then receive a notification on your device letting you know that your new work schedule is available.

If you didn’t do this or aren’t sure, you can check below how to verify it.

iOS

  • Open your Settings

  • Go to Notifications

  • Find Strobbo in the list of your apps

  • Choose to allow notifications

Android

  • Open your Settings

  • Go to Apps

  • Find Strobbo in the list of your apps

  • Make sure Notifications are allowed

Sending Push Notifications

When you send out your schedule, you can now check a box to send push notifications to your employees.

This applies to all employees who would receive a notification — they will then also receive this push notification.

If a specific employee does not wish to receive it, they can disable it in the device settings.

If you uncheck this box, no one will receive a push notification.

Attention: Only employees who have installed the Strobbo app on their device and have chosen to receive push notifications will receive a push message about their work schedule.
